Kia-Ora ! This is the Home Page of Tapawera Settle, a friendly family run campground situated in Tapawera village with its supermarket, garage, café, restaurant and pub. Our park is adjacent to the Kahurangi national park and right beside the Motueka river for safe swimming, trout fishing, kayaking, river walks and complete relaxation. Abel Tasman and its beautiful tracks and beaches is around 40 minutes north, and the stunning Nelson Lakes is just 40 minutes to the south. Tapawera itself is located 45 minutes south west of Nelson and is around a 5 hour drive from Christchurch, so a perfect stop-over if you are heading north to Golden Bay.

We have a variety of services and accommodation available, whether you are seeking to tramp the famous Wangapeka track, or in search of some of the best trout fishing in New Zealand, or maybe just looking to stop, explore and enjoy this beautiful area and warm sunny climate.
