Ohariu Lodge is set on 1.3 acres comprising lawns, shrubs, mature trees, a meandering stream and a hillside of pines.

On arrival you'll find a bottle of quality wine, fresh fruit and delicious locally-made chocolates.

There's a private spa pool with view over the garden (floodlit at night), a petanque (boules) set for use on the lawn, and a small telescope for viewing the spectacular southern hemisphere sky on those crystal clear nights.

The large deck facing the main lawn includes outdoor furniture and barbecue.

The cosy lounge area has modern furniture and a wood burner (log burner) fire.

There's also a CD stereo, television, DVD player (with DVDs), and a selection of books and magazines for those lazy days when you want to do nothing more than kick back and relax.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with electric stove, microwave and refrigerator, and all the usual utensils you'd expect; all you have to bring is whatever food and drink you'll need for your stay.

The master bedroom - 15 square metres - comprises a queen-size bed, with wardrobe, bedside tables, long mirror and extra drawers.

Luxurious velor robes are available for your use.

The large modern bathroom comprises a shower, WC and vanity, heated towel rails, and includes a washing machine should you need it.

Quality toiletries are complimentary.

A registered luxury limousine service is available on-site for tours and transfers.
